Michell earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law, where she received the prestigious Top Paper Award in Legal Writing. Prior to law school, she graduated cum laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Literature.

Since her admission to the California State Bar in 2016, Michell has built a distinguished career representing clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence matters. Her experience and dedication have earned her a reputation for balancing assertive advocacy with the empathy needed in sensitive family law cases.

Michell’s experience in the legal field has been recognized through her selection as a Super Lawyer, Rising Star every year since 2022. She also serves as a member on the Sacramento County Bar Association Board of Directors, where she contributes to the advancement of the legal profession and community outreach initiatives.
